Ressource Allocation in the Plant-Mycorrhizosphere-System

Project C2 develops a
simulation model that describes the effects of biotic and abiotic environmental
factors on resource allocation in plants and mycorrhizosphere. The aims
of the modelling approach are
the aggregation and integration of knowledge and hypotheses about regulation mechanisms in the system
the enhancement of understanding the mechanisms that govern the system
the investigation of theoretical questions about the possible behaviour of the system
to provide a research tool for scientists that can be used for the interpretation of experimental results and to test the working hypotheses of SFB 607
